It was Bosco’s first Birthday last Friday. I can’t that he enjoyed it though. The day before, my brother was driving down a street (quite a distance from my home) and thought to himself ‘that looks like Bosco’. Sure enough, it was. Hours later he disappeared again, this time we had to go out into the car and look for him. Even further away still, we found him at a park playing with some children. Poor Bosco spent the rest of the day and all of his birthday being watched like a hawk, or tied up if noone was there to watch him.

He did get some fancy gifts though.

The other week I bought him a “Furminator”, a grooming comb that set me back around NZ$90 (US $60). It is well worth the money though. He also chose himself a nice piece of beef jerky, conveniently placed unwrapped on the lower shelves of the pet store, right at nose height.
