Being overweight is a common problem for beagles, and can be difficult for their owners to manage.
My beagle is a little on the heavy side (and that's being kind). Any feedback or advice on this topic would be appreciated...
We also have an article on this topic, which can be found here.

One day, after a trip to a local farm, my beagle developed a painful looking rash on his belly. It was red, with little pimple-like spots that looked like they were filled with pus.
I took him to the vet, where he said he has likely been in contact with wandering jew (also known as spiderworts). My poor dog needed some medicine, and to be washed in a mild shampoo. His rash faded and was mostly gone after a week.
